Overview: ACS International - Ghim Moh was founded in the year 1886. Since then, while shaping the lives of hundreds and thousands of children, it has developed into a network of six schools with a total enrolment of more than 10,000 students. More notably, Anglo Chinese International School has gained reputation for producing many of the nation’s outstanding leaders, entrepreneurs and sportsmen. The Anglo Chinese School brand of education was incepted by BishopWilliam F. Oldham. Established in Singapore, the heritage boasts of five other sister institutions in the same country - ACS (Junior), ACS (Primary), ACS (Barker Road), ACS (Independent) and Anglo-Chinese Junior College. The Anglo Chinese School Society specializes in fostering the growth of young individuals in a Christian Community.

Curriculum: Anglo Chinese School offers to the prospective students an international academic program including IGCSE and International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma. Students follow a general program in Year 1 and Year 2 in preparation for entry onto the IGCSE course in Year 3 and 4 followed by the IB in Years 5 and 6. The most interesting part of taking up this course at ACIS is that the curriculum equips the students to meet the challenges of tertiary education.
Infrastructure: The Central Administration Office for smooth functioning of the core and routine works. Classrooms those are well-equipped with the modern day technology that aids the students in learning as well as understanding better. Science Laboratories that has the necessary equipment to train its students in the field of science. Art Centres that have designed a special environment to bring out the creativity and talent from diverse individuals. Music Auditoriums to encourage present day entertainers and future musicians. Common Areas that foster Social gatherings or more often, light chit chats with fellow friends over the meal. The hostel further has facilities such as Chapel, Common Room / Study Room, Tennis Court, Dining Hall, Gym.
Faculty: The school is organized into seven Faculties, each being led by the Head of Faculty covering a different area of discipline. The various disciplines covered are: English, English as Second Language (ESL), Humanities, Languages, Mathematics, Performing & Expressive Arts, Science.
Accreditation: Anglo Chinese International School as a privately owned entity, earned the Accreditation of Council of International Schools in the year 2011, apart from being accredited with International Baccalaureate World School in the same year. Currently, there are 335 accredited or candidate schools under the Purview of Council of International Schools (CIS). The accreditation service offers an internationally-based evaluation for schools that are successfully operating at elementary, middle, secondary levels. While upholding this, it also works as an evaluation instrument designed specifically for international schools. CIS provides a sympathetic but rigorous evaluation of the highest professional standard, crafting the schools into a cost-effective program.
