I've been using a Bi-Pap machine for sleep apnea since 1999. I'm required to see my doctor once a year for the prescription. I have not received clean equipment in about five months because my equipment provider (ROTECH) and doctor have not connected. The issue I'm told is there is a new Empire Plan requirement for me to see the doctor every six month. I saw my doctor less than six months ago. This is a waste of time. It is getting in the way of my therapy. They said it's to make sure I'm compliant - my machine has a cell connection and sends my sleep data directly to ROTECH daily. My doctor has access to that data too. The data proves I use the machine 100% of the time. Please help fix this. I should not have to play go between every six months.
I'm in need of assistance with the date my dependant health coverage began and ended. I'm turning 71 yrs. Of age in October and I do not have Medicare Pt. B. I can not get it with out Medicare getting information containing my coverage dates beginning to end. As it is right now I'm going to be penalized for not subscribing in time. My group number was 030500 Empire Plan. I sent a form to Albany six months ago and haven't heard anything in regards to my request.
