I called the representative for Hunter Douglas blinds that your company recommended and I will tell you I’ve never talk to such a rude sales person in my life. My drapes were with the house when we bought it and they were installed in 2013 I love these blinds and one of them is not working and Hunter Douglas suggested it could be the motor I called your representative he ordered the motor he called me now to set it up I asked him when they came out if he would go over the directions with me and he said read the book. We aren’t going to teach old horses new tricks I think your product is wonderful, but I don’t think that he represents the quality and the service that your company is known for. I purchased custom Hunter Douglas honeycomb blinds from Costco in Brookfield, CT and one of them now has an internal break and the blind will not go up. The outside cord just spins. I need to have someone contact me as soon as possible so that this can be resolved. The telephone I was given says that they were closed, but no way to leave message. Good morning, The other day, I dropped off an older Hunter Douglass blind to replace worn cords at Innovative Openings in Louisville CO. They told me the repair price that you charge has recently risen to from $25 to $64. This is an outrageous price to replace cords on a 35"x60" blind. Can you provide an explanation as to why the repair price has gone up so dramatically? Do you make any adjustment in price for a small size blind versus a big size blind? It certainly discourages us from shopping Hunter Douglass when the time comes to replace the blinds in our house. I am very upset. I spent $4, 000 plus, on blinds two years ago June, and the cords are breaking. I am informed that I only have a seven year warranty on the cords-I was told I had a lifetime warranty at time of purchase (and I know more will be breaking), and to get them repaired, I am to take them in to a design store where they will ship them back for repair, and I am to pay shipping one way Not right Hunter Douglas needs to handle the shipping and design the cords so they do not break under normal usage.
