M A M College of Nursing – Tiruchirappalli was started in 2011 and was approved by the Govt. of Tamilnadu G.O. (2D) Vide NO 42. Health & F.W. Dept. Dt 28.02.2011. It is recognized by Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council and Indian Nursing Council. The college offers B Sc Nursing. The program is spread over four years and includes Internship (Integrated Practice).
M A M College of Nursing – Tiruchirappalli is situated at Trichy - Chennai Trunk road, Siruganur, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu. The college has an excellent library having more than 1156 books, international and national journals in the field of nursing. Internet facility is also available in the library for both students and faculty to update their knowledge and skill. The Nursing college has a high-tech digital auditorium,with adequate seating facilities.
M A M College of Nursing – Tiruchirappalli has a clinical tie up with Chennai medical college "Trichy which consists of 580 bed strength with multispecialty departments for providing skill oriented training to the nursing students. The teaching Learning experience will be given by 1:10 ratio for better learning to the students. All the students in the first year are required to live in the hostel located in the campus. College has got 62 buses for the students to attend clinical and classes on time.
M A M College of Nursing – Tiruchirappalli has a placement cell to guide the students to secure placement in various reputed Hospitals and Educational Institutions after the successful completion of their four years degree programme.
M A M College of Nursing – Tiruchirappalli provides counseling to the students when they confer impediments in coping with hostel, training and personal problems during the course of study. The sports facilities within the campus enables the students to engage themselves in outdoor and indoor games such as Volley ball, Throw ball, Tennis, Basket ball, High Jump, long Jump, Table tennis, Chess, Caroms etc is provided with in the premises.
The NSS volunteers are expected to participate in all NSS activities planned by M A M College of Nursing – Tiruchirappalli. (In campus and others including special campus). A Nursing faculty of the college is the program officer for the NSS activities. Regular quarterly and annual reports with audited statement of accounts are sent to the Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R. Medical University.
