Today we bought two bramley apple turnovers, the pastry was well puffy, but doughy. What is more to the point -the filling comprised no more than about a teaspoonful of apple (? puree) plus lots and lots of nothing else, but AIR ALL VERY UNSATISFACTORY - never mind unsatisfying

This is not the first time though, last week it was a pair of so called Eccles cakes, the above description applied to the pastry here too, with less than a teaspoonful of very mushy and runny raisins and nothing else other than lots of air. Quite frankly your in house bakery needs to employ a decent baker rather than the seemingly incompetent person there now. To summarise - terrible value for money, extremely disappointing, from now on I'll avoid that part of your store like the plague.
