Aalim Muhammed Salegh College of Paramedical Sciences-AMS College of Paramedical Science was founded in the year 1990. The college was registered under the Tamilnadu Societies Registration Act 1975 and was approved by Govt. of Tamilnadu. The College of Physiotherapy was started in the year 1997 and is fully equipped with highly qualified faculty members & all necessary infrastructures.
Aalim Muhammed Salegh College of Paramedical Sciences-AMS College of Paramedical Science library is a Temple of knowledge in its true sense! There is fine collection of books under various titles. More than 1800 volumes and 1100 Titles are kept in the Library. The Library is spacious and well lit. Journals live IAP Journal, Sport Physiotherapy (APTA) Achieves of Physical medicine and Rehabilitation, chattered society, of Physiotherapy Journals are also available in the library. In order to update the latest techniques in Physiotherapy, CD ROMs and Video cassettes are kept there.

The Library has computer facility for accessing internet by the students. Comfortable and furnished hostels with well ventilated and spacious rooms for boys and girls separately, are also available. The Physiotherapy department has got all the advanced treatment modalities which are necessary in treating all pain conditions due to Orthopedic, Neurological, Cardiothoracic and other diseases, which requires Physiotherapy management.

In addition, it has separate units for each treatment modalities to facilitate treating many Patients at same time. The College treats on an average 20 out Patients per day who suffer from various ailments. The clinical Physical Therapist is highly talented and experienced Professionals in handling various modalities of Electrotherapy and exercise technique.
