We booked The Avenue, Amsterdam with you. It's the worst Hotel We have ever stayed in. No tissues in room, no amenities, TV not working well, no proper mattress on bed only foam, no flannel to wash face, no pen, writing pad. Breakfast terrible, not fresh, no-one cleans up. One pillow per bed, lumpy and thick, no other pillows available. The worst three nights of our lives. How can you advertise this Hotel. I found out it is owned by Chinese who live in China. I recently stayed at the Village Motor Inn at Gilgandra New South Wales. I booked through Booking.com and paid $80. When I arrived, I saw Signs for $60. The place was so neglected. The grounds were overgrown. I sat in a chair in the room and the back was broken causing me to fall to the floor. THE SMOKE ALARM HAD BEEN REMOVED WHICH I'M SURE IS ILLEGAL. Check in was done by a young schoolboy and checkout was non-existent. The whole place was shabby and not worth it. Surely you should not be advertising this place. I feel terribly ripped off and will not be using Booking.com in future.
