The Curtin Graduate School of Business – CGSB Perth was founded in 1993 as a semi-autonomous graduate school in the heart of the Perth central business district. In 2002 the Curtin Graduate School of Business – CGSB Perth moved into our current premises, the refurbished Government Printing Office. Known as the Perth City Campus, or more commonly as the CGSB, we offer state of the art teaching facilities in close proximity to parking, transport, industry and retail outlets. Curtin University is the only West Australian University with a CBD-based campus. At the Curtin Graduate School of Business – CGSB Perth, we have an unrelenting commitment to the pursuit of excellence and are committed to ensuring that participants are able to achieve their full potential. Our goal is to enable our students to creatively and responsibly lead sustainable organisations and communities locally and globally. Our programs are delivered by highly qualified and experienced facilitators drawn from the Curtin Graduate School of Business – CGSB Perth academic faculty, our adjuncts, visiting interstate and international professors and practitioners in industry. All academic staff have previously held appointments in industry and some continue to hold joint appointments. In addition to our Business Leaders Series and Building Your Career workshops, the Curtin Graduate School of Business – CGSB Perth holds Information Evenings for prospective students and an orientation event prior to the commencement of every trimester for enrolled students. We also host practical workshops in conjunction with the CBS Communication Skills Centre and the Murray Street Library. Most events held through the Curtin Graduate School of Business – CGSB Perth will confer hours towards the CGSB Professional Portfolio. It is important to identify yourself as a CGSB student by including your Student ID when registering. Attendance certificates can not be issued retroactively. In addition to the academic research undertaken at the Curtin Graduate School of Business – CGSB Perth, the School operates and supports the following centres: The Maureen Bickley Centre offers consulting services, professional development workshops and a raft of other services for community and industry groups. The Centre for Innovation in Decision Quality is a Curtin Business School initiative combining research and practice in the area of Innovation in Decision Quality.
Curtin Graduate School of Business – CGSB Perth academic endeavours are well supported by a loyal and dedicated administration team. We have an onsite Student Services Office offering guidance on course and unit selection as well as application and enrolment processes. Through the Curtin Graduate School of Business – CGSB Perth we offer two professional masters programs - the Master of Business Administration (MBA) and the Master of Business Leadership (MBL). We also have a growing PhD and Doctor of Business Administration higher degree by research program.
