Since its establishment in 2007, Global Institute of Management and Technology – GIMAT Kota has contributed significantly to the development of DIPLOMA / POST-GRADUATE DIPLOMA, IN FIRE & SAFETY, INDUSTRIAL SAFETY, CONSTRUCTION SAFETY, INTERNATIONAL SAFETY MANAGEMENT, etc. education in the country through the PART TIME and FULL TIME Learning (PT./FT.) mode. The 'People's Global Institute of Management and Technology – GIMAT Kota follows a learner-centric approach and has successfully adopted a policy of openness and flexibility in entry qualifications, time taken for completion of a programmes , and place of study. The, (GIMAT) at present, offers 4 programmes of study through over 30, courses to a cumulative student strength of over 800 hundred students.

The education is disseminated in conventional, as well as emerging inter-disciplinary areas, such as con disaster management, environment, empowerment and education, and offline learning. Global Institute of Management and Technology – GIMAT Kota has been making available to PART TIME and FULL TIME Learning (PT./FT.) mode. learners, courses which were hitherto exclusively limited to Face-to-Face classroom transactions. These include programmes in physical technology, computers, library and among others.

A dedicated faculty, trained in education methodology, is responsible for planning, designing, developing and delivering academic programmes. Global Institute of Management and Technology – GIMAT Kota has established a network of 02 Regional Centers (RCs), 6 Sub-Regional Centers and 21 Study Centers (SCs) all over the country to provide easy access and effective support services to the learners. These include Programme Study Centers (PSCs), as well as differently learners, and personnel of different wings of Defiance and Para-military services.
Global Institute of Management and Technology – GIMAT Kota has also begun to focus on the educationally backward regions. New educational and training initiatives in the North-Eastern states are currently under way.
