Mohamed Sathak A J College of Engineering - Chennai was started by the Mohamed Sathak Trust in 2001.The College is approved by the All India Council Technical Education, New Delhi.Charitable educational trust was established in 1973 ny the descendants of the late Mohamed Sathak Thamby of Kilakarai. The aim of the Trust is to promote Technical Education and train the students to cope with the technical needs of the day. The Trust is a promoter of number of educational institutions at Kilakarai and Chennai. Its group of institutions offer programmes in the field of technical, vocational, paramedical and other higher education. Dr.S.M.Hamid Abdul Quadir is the chairman, Alhaj S.M.Kabeer is the correspondent, Dr.P.R.L.Shaik Abubucker, Mr.E.S.M.Basheer Ahmed and Mr.S.M.Mohamed Yousef Sahib is the member of the Governing council.
