I am a frequent traveller with Sunwing. My recent trip was Cuba. I am writing to inform you that I was not a stratified customer. I book through Flight Center the agent did not book my ticket during the boxing week sales as requested, since she was busy. I ended up paying over $100. 00 more for ticket (4 tickets booked). I was also upsold on tickets for a day trip to Havana for $90. 00 each and was told that I will not be able to purchase them at the resort. The Sunwing agent at the resort told me that was incorrect information, and the agent said that because she is making commission. And the ticket was sold there for $57. 00 each. Also the attraction that was disclose on the tour we did not visit. I was quite disappointed with the experience. On Nov. 30, 2017 our two tennis racquets were lost on WGflight 621. We filed a property irregularity form immediately at the airport (058509). The racquets never showed up so we were told by Tarek Ibrahim of Sunwing to file a baggage claim form. We had the form notarized and mailed it to 27 Fasken Dr. Toronto, but have heard nothing further from Sunwing despite repeated emails to Tarek Ibrahim. There seems to be no phone number to follow up. As frequent travellers on Sunwing we are very disappointed with this lack of communication and reimbursement regarding our claim.

We have just been informed our flights have been changed. We know this can happen, but this is the second time. We pick the flight times to accommodate my wife who is diabetic for meal times and insulin. The current change throws this into a loop unless there is food served on a 4pm departure flight. We have traveled to Cuba ten years in a row going to the same resort. The last change got us home at 1:30am in the morning instead of 2:30pm in the afternoon and we had to book a hotel for the night. We are thinking of not going to Cuba in the future now due to this. Thanks not very happy about it. Maybe upgrade to Diamond club might be in order.
