Geetanjali College of Pharmaceutical Studies, the parent body of Geetanjali foundation was established in July 2007 with the objective of bringing about intellectual awakening and an integral part of human development. The institute promises to play a key role in producing highly skilled pharmacy professionals to fulfill future demand of pharmacy sector and provide an opening to the young and talented students of the country.
The profession of pharmacy employs large number of people and is extremely important for national economy. Drug plays a pivotal role in maintenance of health. Activities related to drugs, therefore, constitute a responsible national endeavor. The activities involve production, distribution, and maintenance of quality, regulatory controls and education about drugs. GCPS is housed in an Ultra modern and fully equipped building in GM campus admeasuring approximately 2.65 Acres of constructed area. Also situated alongside in the vast Geetanjali College of Pharmaceutical Studies is the other institutions viz. Geetanjali Medical College & Hospital, Geetanjali College of Physiotherapy, Geetanjali College of Nursing & Geetanjali School of Nursing thus, providing a fully interdisciplinary academic environment and interactions with the studies of various disciplines? Geetanjali foundation, thus, aims to draw on the synergistic effect of all the institution of learning in the campus and develop into a nodal point of information dissemination, academic learning, research and development.

The Geetanjali College of Pharmaceutical Studies is situated in Geetanjali Medicity campus on the N.H. 8 Bypass Road Manvakhera, Udaipur. A 2.65-acre sprawling campus in picturesque surroundings provides a refreshing environment, stimulating intellectual alertness and creativity. The campus provides an ambience that motivates students to grow. Pharmacy education is mainly based on practicals covered under syllabus and its performance in laboratories. In view of this, Institute has provided total of four laboratories for various subjects of pharmaceutical sciences. These laboratories are designed in such a manner that, it provides better working environment and safety.
Geetanjali College of Pharmaceutical Studies laboratories are developed as per the norms of Pharmacy Council of India & All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi. These laboratories are equipped with modern equipments and instruments required as per the syllabus. The laboratories are designed to provide the students with a feel of the industrial environment. The various laboratories are Pharmaceutics Laboratory, Pharmaceutical Chemistry Laboratory, Human Anatomy & Physiology Laboratory, and Pharma Biology Laboratory.
The classrooms are spacious, ventilated and equipped with many facilitate for effective learning. The classrooms are designed to provide maximum interaction between the faculty and students.
This is an age of Information Technology. Our Geetanjali College of Pharmaceutical Studies believes that today's pharmacist besides being computer literate, should also be able to make use of Information Technology in pharmaceutical field. The Institute has a computer centre equipped with fifteen Pentium 4 machines and Multimedia with CD Drive. Along with the hardware the allied software's like UNIX, FoxPro, C++, Lotus 1-2-3, and Windows-95 & MS-Office. The Institute also has CDs on Anatomy & Physiology and allied pharmaceuticals subjects. Internet facilities are also available.
A well equipped Geetanjali College of Pharmaceutical Studies library is one of the pillars of a progressive, forward looking education system. Since its inception, our library has undertaken to expand and update its database. Its rapidly multiplying collection is poised to transform it into an extensive and in-depth treasure of Books and Journals on Pharmacy and allied fields. Library also affords a rich reference section of necessary books.
Geetanjali College of Pharmaceutical Studies has a separate animal house for the better understanding of pharmacology practical’s for undergraduate, postgraduate and research studies. A medicinal plants garden has been developed at the Geetanjali Medicity campus. There are various medicinal plants that are already planted. The plants grown in this garden are useful in the practical classes of Pharmacognosy & Phyto-chemistry. This developed medicinal plants garden provides a strong impetus for herbal drug research and for the training of our undergraduate students.
Geetanjali College of Pharmaceutical Studies has a unique museum having numerous informative displays, charts and monuments in order to provide integral knowledge of the topic to the scholars. Analytical balances are necessary for practicals of pharmacy subjects. The Institute has provided one analytical balance for each student. Such 15 balances with an accuracy of 0.01 mg. are provided in the balance along with this single pan balance of electrical type and digital balance is also provided. Prescription balances are provided to the students whenever necessary.
Modern cafeteria in the Geetanjali College of Pharmaceutical Studies provides hygienic and mouth watering delicacies and different snacks to the students. Special dishes are served to students on special occasions. In-campus accommodation is available for girl and boy student's separately in newly constructed hostels with ultramodern facilities in Hostel blocks having 250 intakes. Geetanjali Foundation provides hostel facility for girls & boys.
College offers Bachelor of Pharmacy Course to the students. The Geetanjali College of Pharmaceutical Studies provides transport facility to faculty & students from Udaipur. The transport facility from Udaipur to college campus has been generated on shared expenses bases.
