The Shekhawati College of Pharmacy, being started from the academic year 2006-2007, is an institution which is to provide the professional program for the Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharma) in the region. The holder of this degree will practice a profession, which besides being highly dignified, leads to the additional satisfaction of serving the ailing humanity.
The Shekhawati College of Pharmacy is located in the serene environment away from the hustle and bustle of the urban atmosphere. It provides excellent peaceful atmosphere for studies. The students are provided with excellent hostel facilities on the campus itself. Besides, wide ranging provisions are available for extracurricular activities. The establishment of the College has been looked after by the well known pharmacist, administrator and highly distinguished educationist in the field of pharmaceutical education and research, Prof. J.S. Qadry, who was specially requested by the founder of the college, Sh. Shish Ram Ranwa, to return from Dubai for the all round development of the college.

Gone are the days, when pharmacists were just considered as dispensers. Today the role of pharmacists is no way less Health Care Team. Pharmacists play a very important advisory role for the doctors, who are busy with diagnosis and have no time to keep pace with the fast development of newer potent drugs, the incidence of drug interactions, adverse drug reactions, teratogene city etc.
The course offered by the Shekhawati College of Pharmacy prepares pharmacists for retail drug sector, clinical departments of hospitals and nursing homes, medical retailers, pharmaceuticals industries, research & development (R&D) centers, government agencies dealing with administration and control of pharmaceutical services and pharmaceutical education at universities and educational institutions. The vast education background and experience of the Management provides all the facilities to the college, including the laboratories for all disciplines, pharmaceutical machine section to provide training for pilot plant manufacture if all kinds of formulations, well equipped computer center, up-to-date library and host of other facilities.
The pharmacy students are now required to have knowledge of pharmacy practice clinical pharmacy. It is planned by the management to let the students undergo Pharma co-therapeutic training and monitoring of patients in the hospital associated by the Trust for training the Nursing students.

The separate library of Shekhawati College of Pharmacy for degree and diploma established which contains around 5000 books relating to pharmaceutical sciences and related areas and 50 national and international journals, compact disc version and scientific video tapes are available in the library. The library is also provided with reprographics services and high speed internet connection with numerous terminals there by assisting the faculty and students to acquire knowledge through sophisticated means.
Prompt and adequate medical facilities are made available for the Shekhawati College of Pharmacy students round the clock, including specialist son call. An MOU with Jangid Hospital, Nawalgarh, has been arrived at for prompt medical services and emergency needs.

Shekhawati College of Pharmacy offers Bachelor of Pharmacy course is of four year duration for which Rajasthan University of Health Science, Jaipur conducts the qualifying examinations. Student completing this degree course are eligible to register as pharmacists and practice the profession throughout India as per rules and regulations of pharmacy council of India.
The Shekhawati College of Pharmacy students are trained to work in hospital as well as in pharmaceutical manufacturing and analytical units. Apart from the usual curriculum, the college provides practical training in pharmaceutical industries and in hospital all over India.
