I truly feel that the client should not have to pay (not cheap) for the awful number of REPEATS that we are subjected to every day, week and months. To add insult to injury, the shorts are even more numerous. Surely we deserve better than this.
There must be a trillion old movies - preferable to the 'svln' we are forced to watch - not good for anybody's souls. As an invalid, getting back to the lounge to change channels due to the repeat problem, is painful. I suppose it is due to the fact that we only have Premium - attempting to force our hands to sign up for Multichoice?
I am considering cancelling, as soon as I have found another company on the internet. Ye gads, I do pray that I find another source. Sincerely

In April 2016 I signed a monthly contract. I received a SMS two days ago stating that my renewal is up and I will be debited for R7767 on the 1/9/2016. I never instructed DSTV to change my contract from monthly to annual. I visited the DSTV durban office this morning and they could not assist me as the mag tape has already gone through. They could not understand how or who changed my details. How their problem has become my problem without me even doing anything. The only way this can be sorted out was if I go to the bank and put a stop payment on this amount. DSTV you created the problem. Take accountability for your actions and resolve the problem not by pasing the buck over to the client. This is truly unacceptable.

COMPLAINT My PVR decoder is faulty and our local DStv agency in Vryheid, KZN said they can not assist, I must call the call center and obtain a voucher to replace my PVR because it can not be repaired. The call centre said that the local agency MUST assist me. After the 3rd visit to the agency they eventually said that they will replace the PVR with an Explorer, but a new agreement had to be signed and all the details regarding my husband's bank account number and fica documents had to be supplied. I already have an Explorer, the PVR was the second decoder. Why do I have to complete a new agreement. The service at the local agency was disgustingly poor. I can not believe that staff with such a lack of people skills and product knowledge is appointed. They need training drastically because they do not seem to know what is going on. I must say that the local Dstv agency is the one place that I hope I never have to visit again.

I have entered into a telephonic contract with one of dstv sales people in the week of six July 2015 for an explora decoder at R849 per month. After two weeks of waiting I started calling dstv to enquire when the decoder will be delivered as I to date received nothing. After a run-around I got hold of a person called Enos at his telephone number 011 767 0860. He promised to call back and solve the problem which he never did, I had to call daily on 22 and 23 July 2015 to find out what is going on. Finally his supervisor called me on 23 July and promised to solve the issue and promised to call me back the following day, which never happened. Who can I contact that can actually help me or actually want to help me. I have entered into a contract with dstv for an Explora decoder and to date dstv is defaulting on that contract. I have made this complaint before and did not receive much help. I have a standard decoder on Premium bouquet. DMX channels are not available. They do not appear on Dstv guide. Pressing shift+tv gives an E50 error message. Every time. (BTW: the first reaction I received to this was: it should work. It does NOT, but thanks, very helpful).
