Initially the college was affiliated to Utkal University and was registered under U.G.C. (12-B of the Act, 1966) in the year 1991. Later on come under Fakir Mohan University, Balasore in 1999 The
Agarpara College – Bhadrak is situated in a picturesque Campus sprawling on nearly 12 acres of land of its own by the side of River Salandi at a distance of 25 K.M. away towards the Western part of the district headquarter, Bhadrak. Since, it is located in the meeting place of three districts Bhadrak, Balasore and Keonjhar and rural based the students coming three districts symbolize unity in diversity.
The Mission of the Agarpara College – Bhadrak is committed to the course of empowerment of rural youth through access to education, particularly higher education, enabling them to develop as intellectually alive, Socially responsible citizens ever ready for continuous personal and professional development and to cultivate social, moral and spiritual values.
