Vishwakarma Institute of Management – VIM Pune was established in 1991 under the aegis of BRACT, as an autonomous institute. It got affiliated to the UOP in the year 2001 and also received approval from AICTE, and recognition from the Government of Maharashtra. Today it is the flagship Institute of BRACT in the domain of management education. Computer Centre of Vishwakarma Institute of Management – VIM Pune has huge tastefully designed fully equipped state-of-the-art computer Center having labs, with underground network cabling and centralized controlling equipment for monitoring network workstations. The students avail computer facilities on one-to-one basis for long hours. All the labs are networked and 24-hours internet facility is available through Internet Leased Line of speed 2 Mbps (1:1). Entire Dev Bhoomi Campus is Wi-Fi enabled.

Banking and ATM Facility of Vishwakarma Institute of Management – VIM Pune extension counter of Punjab National Bank is functioning in the separate building on all working days. Students can make use of the personal facilities at the extension counter. The bank provides a 24 hour ATM facility and ATM cards have been issued to all students, faculty and staff members.
Placement Cell of Vishwakarma Institute of Management – VIM Pune students with minimum 85% attendance are eligible for placements. All placements related communication is through email and notices are displayed on the placement notice board. Students must check their mails at least twice a day. All details of the students are incorporated in the placement brochure, provided the students submit their information within the given time frame. Students must be punctual in reporting to the company for the recruitment process. Students appearing for interviews have to be present in college dress code. Students should not discuss any points (Package, Job profile, Location etc) at the time of interview. Any queries should be discussed with the TPO. It is expected that students prepare a file, in hard copy, of all their academic records when appearing for campus recruitment process. At least 2 hard copies of their CV’s in college format should be ready with them.
In Vishwakarma Institute of Management – VIM Pune, Once the candidate has registered his/ her name for interview, he/she has to appear for PPT of the respective company failing which the respective candidate will be barred for next two companies participating in placement activity. Once the candidate is short listed for the interview in any company, the college will not in any way influence the selection process of the interviewing Company. A student gets only one offer from the campus recruitment process. If a student gets a pre-placement offer, then he should communicate to the TPO accordingly. Decision of the Director of the Institute is final.
